ZERO WASTE

Zero Waste is an ecological system that aims to reuse all the products and avoid sending them to landfill or incinerator. Zero Waste is a strategy that builds on what nature does, constantly re-using its resources. Among the major theorists is Professor. Paul Connett, a professor at St. LawrenceUniversity who speaks in the following video:  The centerpiece of the strategy is, however, to differentiate to control waste reuse and recycling. The Zero Waste strategy can be summed up in: – Reduce the amount of waste – Designing objects biodegradable, recyclable or reusable – Elimination of incinerators – Encouraging the reuse and repair items are no longer functional The first Italian city to join the Zero Waste strategy was Capannori. Zero Waste is therefore a system that, if implemented, would help to protect nature and ecology.
